Maintenance

RUSKIN/NUBUCK – Step by step
1. Brush up
Gently brush in one direction with a suede brush to lift the fibers and remove dry dust.
2. Remove stains
If necessary, use a suede eraser on dark marks and dirt that cannot be removed with a soft brush - Brush again afterwards.
3. If the shoe is wet
Blot away moisture, fill with newspaper, shape the shoe and air dry at room temperature.
4. Protect
When the shoe is completely dry: Impregnate with breathable spray (20–30 cm distance). Let dry and brush lightly to restore the matte “nubuck effect”.

Pro tip (suede): Avoid oil/grease – it darkens and can “stick” the fibers together.

Do's & Don'ts
• ✅ Always test product in a discreet place first.
• ✅ Use waterproofing.
• ❌ No washing machine, no radiator/sun drying.
• ❌ No leather grease/oil on suede and only thin layers on smooth leather.

How often?
• As needed: Light brushing/wiping weekly.
