That's what our customers say
SabrinaGreat shoes and customer service. My kids love their new winter shoes, we had a GREAT help choosing the right size. We hope to expand the sizes so that we can also buy the next shoes from Gogsig
Johanna HansenMy son has used shoes from gogsig for the last two seasons and when the pacifier was launched I was very excited.
And so did my son - he calls them the best running shoes and definitely wouldn't take them off again.
They are delicious in quality (as all the other products are) and we are very happy with them.
AnnI am so happy with the quality of the shoes.
These are the widest shoes on the market, and I love the idea of giving my children the best conditions for their feet to develop in the best possible way.
In addition, the communication with Gogsig is just good
J LassenThe best shoes for children. Fits perfectly on a slightly wide child's foot. Super soft and flexible. Fantastic quality and material. Always fast delivery.
CeciliaWithout a doubt the best shoes we have ever had for our children!
Fantastic service, fast delivery and the softest and most delicious shoes. Will definitely buy shoes for both children here many times again.
Gogsig gets the warmest recommendations from here.
ChristinaI was in doubt about the size, but got help quickly.
My son is immediately happy with the shoes and sandals we bought, he no longer cries when we find the sandals and there are no signs of the gnawing. We will come again when we need winter boots ☺️
AndreasWow a quality! - I have now tried on the first boots for my one and a half year old boy. They are like made for his feet. These are not the last boots we buy. <3
Frequently asked questions
Shouldn't a shoe have a fixed heel cap?
Do children need a fixed heel cap?
Short answer: No - not when the shoe is flat, flexible and follows the child's natural movements.
🌿 Gogsig has no fixed heel cap
Our shoes are designed without a heel cap because little feet develop best when they can move freely in all directions - both in the heel and forefoot. This allows for natural strength, balance and motor skills.
Why is a fixed heel cap not necessary for children?
The foot must work itself
A stiff heel cap limits the foot's movement and does the work for the child. Without a heel cap, the small muscles around the ankle and foot are activated, allowing the child to build stability on their own.
⚖️ 2. Better balance without locking
Balance is created through feeling the ground . When the heel can move freely, the child receives more natural sensory input - and this strengthens balance.
🥿 3. Flexibility gives control
A soft and flexible shoe allows the child to feel the ground and react quickly. It provides better body control than a stiff heel cap.
🧠 When does a fixed heel cap actually make sense?
A fixed heel counter is typically used in shoes that inherently create instability - for example, shoes with:
- high heel
- thick, hard bottom
- molded soles
- Poor contact with the substrate
In such shoes, a fixed heel counter can help “restore” stability because the shoe does not allow natural movement.
But in barefoot shoes - where the child is already standing stable, flat and close to the ground - this is not necessary.
⭐ The Gogsig Tank
We work with natural stability , not artificial support.
That's why our shoes have:
- no heel cap
- no heel height
- flexibility all the way around
- close contact with the substrate
The result? Freedom to move, stronger feet and more confident play and movement.
Is Gogsig suitable for beginners?
Absolutely! Our shoes are ideal, even for the little ones who have just started walking 👶🏼
Here is the reason:
🦶🏼 Natural movement : Our barefoot shoes are super flexible, soft and supple, with specially developed soles, Gogsig shoes allow the child to move freely. The child's movements remain natural, and their feet can work as they should. ✨
🫶🏼 Comfort and development : Instead of restricting your child's movements, our shoes provide ample space for them to develop balance, strength and coordination.
💪🏼 Our barefoot principle : Our philosophy behind barefoot shoes is to let the child experience the feeling of walking barefoot! Our light and flexible shoes let the child's feet, muscles, joints move naturally.
In short, Gogsigs offer the perfect combination of softness and freedom of movement, so beginners can confidently take their first steps without restrictions.
Why choose Gogsig barefoot shoes for your child?
As parents, we want the best for our children - and that starts right from the feet. For too long, we've let fashion and "what looks good" dictate our choice of children's shoes. But the truth is, children's feet need comfort, freedom and natural movement - not restriction.
👣 What feels good?
- Shoes that let your child feel the ground and develop balance naturally.
- Shoes without unnecessary support that make room for the feet's own muscles and nerves.
- Shoes that follow the shape of the foot - instead of forcing the foot to adapt to the shoe.
At Gogsig, we design barefoot shoes with freedom of movement, healthy comfort and quality at the heart of everything we do. This means your child can play, run and explore the world in the most natural way - while the shoes are durable for everyday use and all seasons.
It's time to ask the question:
➡️ Should my child have shoes that look nice?
Or shoes that help feet grow and move as nature intended?
With us, the answer is clear: Comfort first - always.
How do I choose the right size for my child?
When choosing barefoot shoes for your child, it is important to find the right size to ensure optimal comfort and freedom of movement. Here are some tips for choosing the perfect size:
- Measure your child's foot : Start by measuring your child's feet when they are standing up, both the length and width should be measured!
It is important to measure both feet, as one foot can often be slightly larger than the other. Use the larger foot as a reference. -
Check the size guide : Use our size guide to find the best fit. Gogsig's barefoot shoes are designed with a spacious toe box, so your toes have room to spread out. Therefore, you may find that you need to go down a size or two compared to a "regular" shoe.
- Check the fit : When you receive the boots, let your child try them on inside before using them. There should be enough room for the toes to move freely, most importantly the heel should be secure without wriggling and without the foot sliding too far forward in the shoe.
Remember that barefoot shoes have plenty of room for the foot, so you often don't need as much of a growth allowance as in traditional shoes. It's important to ensure that the child doesn't trip, so avoid choosing too much growth allowance in barefoot shoes!
